Domain Name Appraisal????

I put up www.gta4fans.com for a 90 day auction, starting price 1,000 dollars. The domain name is based off of the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto IV, and it seems like a very popular name once the game comes out and ppl want cheats/strategies/etc. If you’re in the domain buying/selling business, could you please give me an appraisal of this domain name, and tell me how much it will probably go for?

I do think that you’re over-valuing that domain as well. If you build the site up & develop a (small) community of users I think you could get a few hundred out of it – but for the domain itself as it sits right now, I think that the other answers are probably fairly accurate. I’m sure you can get more than the reg fee for the name – & maybe as much as $100 for it…. but probably not much more undeveloped, at least at this time.

Do these Bible verses really say that adultry, fornication and homosexuality is wrong?

What is the truth about sex? What does the Bible say about fornication, adultry, lust, homosexuality, and incest?

These Bible Verses Have The True Answer!

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 …Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

1Corinthians 6:13 … the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.

Deuteronomy 27:20 ‘Cursed is the one who lies with his father’s wife…

Deuteronomy 27:21 ‘Cursed is the one who lies with any kind of animal.’

Deuteronomy 27:22 ‘Cursed is the one who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’

Deuteronomy 27:23 ‘Cursed is the one who lies with his mother-in-law.’

Leviticus 18:20 …you shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, to defile yourself with her.

Proverbs 6:24-29 …the commandment is a lamp, and the law a light: Reproofs of instruction are the way of life, to keep you from the evil woman, from the flattering tongue of a seductress. Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, nor let her allure you with her eyelids. For by means of a harlot a man is reduced to a crust of bread: and an adulteress will prey upon his precious life. Can a man take fire to his bosom and his clothes not be burned? Can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be seared? So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife: Whoever touches her shall not be innocent.

Proverbs 23:27-28 …a harlot is a deep pit, and a seductress is a narrow well. She also lies in wait as for a victim, and Increases the unfaithful among men.

Proverbs 6:32 Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul.

Mathew 5:27-28 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, you shall not commit adultery. “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Mark 7:20-23 (Jesus said)…“What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, and evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. “All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Neither will…

1Corinthians 6:9-10 …homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, …nor extortioners…

Now…

Jeremiah 7:8-9 …“Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Ba’al, and walk after other gods whom you do not know,

Jude 5-8 …I want to remind you , though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomor’rah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

But you can be set free from the bondage of sin that brings death. If you call on the name of Jesus

1 Corinthians 6:11 …such where some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Colossians 3:5-6 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.

1Thessalonians 4:3-5 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God;

1 John 1:5-9 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

To Those Who Fear Jesus…

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

1 Corinthians 7:2 …because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

Sex is Good in Jesus’ Ordained Covenant of Marriage…

1 Timothy 4:3 …which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

Yes. Jesus said marriage is between a man and his wife. Sex is a wonderful thing in the covenant of marriage. Outside of marriage it is sin.

Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Mat 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
Mat 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

1. HOW TO PLAY:
Register at http://www.freelotto.com. You must provide your first and last name, your e-mail address and your postal address. You may from time to time be required to provide additional information. You are responsible for updating your information should there be a change. You can do so by editing your player profile on our website. You are responsible for claiming any prizes that you may win as further described below. The receipt of emails from FreeLotto is required for your participation in and to claim prizes in FreeLotto games. You will be notified during game play if the email address you submitted will enable you to claim your prizes. If your email address does not meet these requirements, you will be given an opportunity to submit an alternate email address. Some internet service providers such as Yahoo and Hotmail.com provide free e-mail services. Some companies provide free internet access and may also be available at your public library.

Each day a certain number of ads or questions will be posted at the game site that will remain on the site all or part of that day. To submit your entries for the daily contests, choose your numbers for each of the FreeLotto® games you are eligible to enter each day and choose a sponsor to visit by clicking on its banner ad, or answer a multiple choice question. You may submit one entry for each game available to you on a given day. You may also increase the number of banner ads available to you by answering questions regarding your buying preferences. Your answers will determine if some advertisers who seek to selectively advertise their products will display their ads to you. (Example: if you indicate an interest in fishing, fishing related ads may appear on your FreeLotto® game page). You may enter once from each ad or question but you are limited to one entry per FreeLotto game per day.)

2. Players have the opportunity to play the 6 consecutive FreeLotto® games consisting of FreeLotto, FreeLotto Win A Car, FreeLotto Pay Off your Mortgage, FreeLotto FastCash, FreeLotto $100,000 GiveAway and FreeLotto SuperBucks each day. (The FreeLotto® game sequence consists of 6 games which must be played in consecutive order). Players must play each game they are offered in succession to be eligible to play the subsequent game and must enter all of the first 5 games they are offered to be eligible to play FreeLotto SuperBucks. The 5 games that follow Classic FreeLotto® are FreeLotto Win A Car, FreeLotto Pay Off your Mortgage, FreeLotto FastCash, FreeLotto $100,000 GiveAway and FreeLotto SuperBucks. From time to time the FreeLotto games may be offered individually or out of sequence. In such instances all other provisions of the FreeLotto Game Rules apply.

3. How to Play FreeLotto Games:

Each day, six (6) Classic FreeLotto winning numbers between one 1 and 54 will be selected at random via a random ball drop lottery machine at around 5:00 PM Eastern Time (New York Time). These numbers will be matched against all entries received between 3:00:01 PM Eastern Time (New York Time) the previous day and 3:00 PM Eastern Time (New York Time) that day. I think this is a scam,so be careful & stay away from this website.NO free……………………………

I agree with the first comment, too much to read.

Looks like a variation of the pop ups that promise a prize for completing a survey. The problem is, the odds of winning are not worth the amount of time it takes to complete the surveys.

These sites make money by referring you to web sites that pay for each visit. You have to click on an awful lot of websites for them to make enough to give away.

Opinions needed!! Does this seem like a scam? (i.e identity theft)?

I replied to some ads on a craigslist type website (kijiji.ca) to look for a personal loan. All of the replies I’ve gotten are by email, most domains ending with @live or @hotmail or @gmail (I thought most companies would use their own email. And here’s copy and paste what the replies were. What do you think:

"send us an email now with the below details so that we can start processing your loan application.

Name of Loan Seeker:
Country:
Address:
Sex:
Age:
Amount Needed:
Loan Duration:
Mobile Number:
Occupation:
Monthly Income:
______________________________________________
I am in receipt of your mail and if you are interested in getting a loan from our company, then i will like to know more about your background including your full name, contact address and the exact amount you intend borrowing as loan. Below is the company loan application fill in necessary data and get back to us.—— Then it goes on to ask name/address/drivers lisence number etc.

You are being scammed … don’t ever give out your information over the internet … unless you know where it’s going …. I would never go for a loan over the internet … go to a bank or loan company in your area that is reputable … people try to do too much online and they don’t know who they are dealing with.

How can I create a flash website to display my photography?

I’ve already purchased my domain name, thinking that it wouldn’t be difficult to set up a page. Now I’m realizing that I have no clue what I’m doing. I’ve seen numerous photographers who showcase their work using flash website (which help protect against copy/pasting and ’save as’ image theft). I’ve been hunting around online trying to find a free template or something that I could use, but either they cost much more than I’m willing to spend, or they don’t look professional in any way. Can anyone tell me how other photographers create their websites to look like these?
http://www.photographer.net.au/
http://www.amyboslerphotos.com/
http://www.ashleyannphotography.com/
(especially the last one)
I’m not really sure where to even begin, and as I don’t have a booming business, I’d rather not invest a ton of money into it. If anyone can help me out with some pointers, tutorials, free templates, or possibly creating something for me, I’d reallly appreciate it!
Thanks!

I KNOW WHO MADE THAT SITE YOU LIKE.. It is a template! it was made at http://www.bludomain.com you can purchase it for $400. I learned this because i have a client photographer who used their flash template, http://www.renaiphoto.com The setback is that it is hard to have a full flash template to rank well on the search engine. Which is why for the site I mentioned above, i created some regular pages to help with this issue (a contact form, a link page).

is there a place where i can host a religous site for free, with no ads? (hopefully with unlimited storage)?

is there any organization that donates domain names to churches and ministries? would need multiple domains, the more the better. the purpose of the sites would be to spread the word of God, first, and secondly to combat evil on the internet.

(’evil on the internet?’… think of pornography, phishing scams, identity theft, spyware, gambling, music theft, etc etc etc)
yes there is such a thing- i found several examples. however, none of them allowed me the scripting and bandwidth options that i needed…

i just need to find the best one

What!? o.O «unlimited storage»!!! Hahaha! There’s no such thing!

I have a very difficult question. My just found in internet company with internet marketing system. My question is: May I work with them if I international student and have F 1 visa or not? That’s what i found when I tried to register myself in this system :

United States Federal Law and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) require us to obtain a valid Social Security Number for all United States citizens and residents, who wish to be a part of our program. The Social Security Number you specify must be accurate. Failure to provide your valid SSN can be prosecuted under federal law as identity theft.

How do I prevent my original artwork and images from being lifted from my website, please?

I am in the process of setting up my own website, in Australia, on my MacBook using iWeb, and I am just about to get my domain name etc.

What I really need to know is how to place some images on my site so that they cannot be removed to other people’s desktops. I am having posters printed of some images and will sell them using PayPal, but they need to be fixed onto my site to prevent copyright theft. I know some people have this feature but I don’t know how to get it….the domain name company don’t know how to do it. Anyone in here a website maker?……..Can you help?
Thank you Jason B….would you describe how the embedding of the pictures with flash, means please?

Thank you Robin T….would you be able to tell me how to watermark my images, please?
I thank you Robin T, for the great watermarking site which gives instructions. I will definitely use this method because it will be right over the image area and would render them useless to anyone else. You have been immensely helpful.
Thank you Plus for your input, too

What about add watermarks to your images?

Answer to your additional details:

Watermarking is basically adding some text or logo to your images, so that if your image file is stolen:
- the thief wouldn’t be able to get commercial value out of it
- the real source of the intellectual property can be easily identified, so the thief would think twice to display the stolen images publicly (therefore limits what they can do with the stolen images).

What sort of punishment does this man desirve?

Man described as a top spammer arrested

By GENE JOHNSON, AP Legal Affairs WriterThu May 31, 8:02 AM ET

A 27-year-old man described as one of the world’s most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

Robert Alan Soloway is accused of using networks of compromised "zombie" computers to send out millions upon millions of spam e-mails.

"He’s one of the top 10 spammers in the world," said Tim Cranton, a Microsoft Corp. lawyer who is senior director of the company’s Worldwide Internet Safety Programs. "He’s a huge problem for our customers. This is a very good day."

A federal grand jury last week returned a 35-count indictment against Soloway charging him with mail fraud, wire fraud, e-mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering.

Soloway pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon to all charges after a judge determined that — even with four bank accounts seized by the government — he was sufficiently well off to pay for his own lawyer.

He has been living in a ritzy apartment and drives an expensive Mercedes convertible, said prosecutor Kathryn Warma. Prosecutors are seeking to have him forfeit $773,000 they say he made from his business, Newport Internet Marketing Corp.

A public defender who represented him for Wednesday’s hearing declined to comment.

Prosecutors say Soloway used computers infected with malicious code to send out millions of junk e-mails since 2003. The computers are called "zombies" because owners typically have no idea their machines have been infected.

He continued his activities even after Microsoft won a $7 million civil judgment against him in 2005 and the operator of a small Internet service provider in Oklahoma won a $10 million judgment, prosecutors said.

U.S. Attorney Jeff Sullivan said Wednesday that the case is the first in the country in which federal prosecutors have used identity theft statutes to prosecute a spammer for taking over someone else’s Internet domain name. Soloway could face decades in prison, though prosecutors said they have not calculated what guideline sentencing range he might face.

The investigation began when the authorities began receiving hundreds of complaints about Soloway, who had been featured on a list of known spammers kept by The Spamhaus Project, an international anti-spam organization.

The Santa Barbara County, Calif., Department of Social Services said it was spending $1,000 a week to fight the spam it was receiving, and other businesses and individuals complained of having their reputations damaged when it appeared spam was originating from their computers.

"This is not just a nuisance. This is way beyond a nuisance," Warma said.

Soloway used the networks of compromised computers to send out unsolicited bulk e-mails urging people to use his Internet marketing company to advertise their products, authorities said.

People who clicked on a link in the e-mail were directed to his Web site. There, Soloway advertised his ability to send out as many as 20 million e-mail advertisements over 15 days for $495, the indictment said.

The Spamhaus Project rejoiced at his arrest.

"Soloway has been a long-term nuisance on the Internet — both in terms of the spam he sent, and the people he duped to use his spam service," organizers wrote on Spamhaus.org.

Soloway remained in federal detention pending a hearing Monday.

He should be forced to read…aloud…all the Q&A in Y!A Politics.
