I had a web page and domain name on yahoo and used all their site building tools. After a while it got too expensive so I closed my account. I checked online and I STILL own the domain so I opened up a new account with JustHost and went to transfer the domain name to them but I can’t get access to my old domain!! Every time I click on it it says unknown address. HELP!!!

My webhost allows additional domains, but does not support wordpress. I have had problems when trying out new themes and plugins and crashed my site. If i could get a free or cheap domain name I could work with these tools first.
You can’t get a real domain (TLD) for free:
For about $10 for a real .com
http://www.domaincityhosting.com
For a free sub-domain:
http://www.co.cc

Looking for a tool which will extract specific domain name e-mails in search results, AND NOT bring back every e-mail under the sun? I’ve tried Atomic Email Hunter and Advanced Email Extractor, but getting WAY too many irrelevant results- looking forward to some REAL TECHY answers!
And this is NOT for SPAM purposes, BTW….
nobody wants spam. you will not get an answer here.

Are there free tools to publish and start a web site ?(shareware)
and where to find them ?
To make a website just follow this guide I made:
First, if you don’t really want to write <html> and you just want to make a site fast with free hosting try these sites:
1#Webs– webs.com/ | Formally FreeWebs
Simply sign up, chose a domain(www.yoursitename.webs.com), choose a templet, then ad content, and upload, as easy as that! The hosting is free, but you can upgrade to get more features.
2#Weebly– weebly.com/
Create a free website or blog in minutes by using a simple drag and drop interface. No ads. One of Time’s 50 best websites of the year.
2#Blogger– blogger.com/start
Great to start a blog, powered by google!
If you are willing to spend time learning <html>(but want some help making it with a program) then check out these links:
1#KompoZer– http://www.kompozer.net/
WYSIWYG HTML and CSS editor derived from Nvu. Binary downloads for Windows, Mac, and several variants of Linux. [Open Source]
By the way KompoZer is NVU’s Unofficial bug-fix because NVU was forgotten, it has so many bugs and crash so much they just gave-up. So don’t use NVU.
<——————————–Some Q and A——————————–>
Q:
What is a WYSIWYG <html> editor?
A:
Well stands for What You See Is What You Get it makes the code for you, if you place a image here on the screen it will make the code to do that, there are limitation thought but it’s still good.
Every Site need a domain(example www.yoursite.com , or www.somesite.net , etc)
Q:
What is a Domain?
A:
A Domain is the URL of you site ie, www.yoursite.com or www.yoursite.co.cc.
Also most hosting company’s will give you a sub-domain, ie, www.yoursite.110mb.com or www.yoursite.webs.com
If you want a free domain try a .co.cc domain:
co.cc– https://www.co.cc/
co.cc is a free domain, (example, www.yoursite.co.cc).
If you want a top level domain like .com, .net, .org etc. domain then you have to pay for those.
If you would like to buy a top level domain then check out
GoDaddy.com:
godaddy.com
To have your site on the web you need a server to host it, server space can cost from nothing at all to $500+ for dedicated servers.
Q: What is Web Hosting?
A: It’s a server that’s up all the time to keep your site up on the web
Q: What’s Disk Space?
A: Disk space is the amount of data the hosting company let’s you have on there server, go over and they will not let you put more data on there server.
Q: What’s Bandwidth?
A: Bandwidth is the number of data your hosting company allows you to transfer monthly, If you go over your bandwidth thought most hosting company’s will charge you for what you go over, but some do not.
Can you suggest an good Free Hosting Company?
110MB– http://www.110mb.com/

Hey,
I’m looking for a tool that let me check details about domains name in my script.
You can see the model I’m looking for right here:
http://xml-api.domaintools.com/
But there program is not the best tool because they don’t have:
Not working with all TLDs, only work for .com,.net,.biz
I need the tool support all kinds of TLDs.
what kind of info are you looking for? I use nslookup for most everything or the unix host command.
PS
foreign registries need to be specified for low-level ns searches.

I only want to know about one name so I don’t want to pay the high fees at domain tools. I don’t mind paying to look up the history for the one search but i do not want to pay the monthy fee that domain tools charges just for this one time use and thier free trail doesn’t let you see history. Webarchives just shows old webpages it does not give any info on past whois history. Hosterstats gives hosting history not whois history. Whois gives current owner not past domain owners. Any ideas?
can’t help you

Hi,
I have a domain name and website. I decided to search domain lookup on google and clicked on whois domain tools and searched my own web address to find that it listed all my details including name, address and phone number. How do I get these private contact details removed from public access.
Thanks
Purchase private registration from your webhost.
