Easiest way is to go with “1and1.c0m” to register your domains, they cost only $6.99 per year and are more reliable without of the crap and spam Godaddy curses you with. 1and1 will also (its a 1-click option) hide your registration info, tel numbers, address, etc for FREE for the life of your domain at 1and1, so dont pay for what you can get at no cost with other domain registrars that provide privacy from WHOIS seaches and from the prying eyes of other domain-name lookup hax.

With the phone number thing: buy a go-phone. now-a-days people are emailing more and more and not using phones as much. so if you are setting up a business that would be a great thing to consider. PO box is a great investment even if it’s the smallest and cheapest one you can find.
