If you want to write about whoever on your myspace page, and include pictures of them, random strangers, buildings, etc etc,..is that okay to do or illegal without their permission, etc?
How about in published books, magazines, articles, etc?
exactly how much freedom of speech do we have?
for example I have great pictures of some houses, roadways, and some funny looking people that I’d like to post on my myspace page,but am wondering if this is okay or not?
You are allowed to write anything you want and publish acceptible photos that you either take yourself or that you own the copyright to.
Photos of people in public are perfectly legal.
You may not photograph certain places without permission; but the exteriors of buildings on public streets are allowed.
Anything copyrighted and published by others can not be reprinted in part or in whole without the permission of the copyright’s owner. Public domain items can be used, just make sure the item is in public domain.
