I agree with you and I realise that some cultures are fine with this sort of thing, but our culture is not so one theoretically has to pay attention to this, also children do not always know what is best for them, they would probably love it if someone just fed them candy breakfast lunch and dinner, but as an adult one would know that this is wrong and not beneficial.
