I am using a smartnav 4, and the game that I am playing as world of war craft. But I’m having a very hard time using it to pan the camera and move my character. It seems you have a mind of its own and flies around the screen. I also cannot get it to work in other games such as fallout 3, is there settings I should be changing?

That is awesome! I currently use a mouthstick with a trackball mouse to play my games, but your set up looks a lot less tiring than mine.

oops. meant 12 inch long bit of rubber tubing with a BALOON at the end.

Dude! I covet your rig!!!
What sip and puff gear are you using? I was considering getting ACCT’s unit, but it is hideously expensive, as is almost all gimpware. Seems like landing in a chair is a green light for people to economically abuse you. Why else would a roughly 12 inch long bit of rubber tubing with a tube at the end (catheter) cost more than a top of the line extra deluxe double length garden hose?

That’s great you can play games. Good way to relax and have some fun.
Holy cow there are some turd-heads here on Youtube.

With the right bit of technology, some imagination and a bit of technical know how, 3D games can set people with all kinds of disabilities “free” in an environment where they are no different to everyone else – what could be better? Bobby is a great example of what you can achieve. Show him some respect. Anyone posting negative comments should think about how they would feel if they had no use of their limbs.

The negative comments make me laugh! Just shows how ignorant and how much you must hate your own life….Thanks to all the rest of you.

your hardware sucks!!
September 3rd, 2010 at 11:14 pm
He is disabled, it is to allow him to play the game. Judging by the video, he is playing almost without any restriction, no one would notice. Quite a piece of equipment.

He is disabled, that is why.
