Are there any free domain names out there other than .tk?
i really need a domain name and i have been looking everywhere. are the only domains for free the .tk ones?

Some webhosting companies offer free SUB-domain names.
One example is http://www.netfirms.com
For free you can set up a small, with-ads, very basic website
using a subdomain like
you-make-up-this-part.netfirms.com
You can then pay for enhanced capability and removal of the ads.
Other hosting companies offer similar deals.
There are also free hosting deals such as
geocities where your site is
