How can I take my domain from Yellow pages .com?

My business domain name was bought for me through my yellow pages rep. Everyone that I have talked to, even the reps, say that I OWN the domain name. Business is very slow right now, and I cannot afford to pay these bloodsuckers for their outrageous hosting prices and their generic looking cookie cutter website. My question is How do I take my domain from their clutches so that I can get a better deal on hosting and an overall better website?

Hiya,

You should contact the person that has your name and say " I want to xfer my domain name to another hosting company". I host many name at DN15.com. If they are truly a decent company they will not have a problem with it. Once in your name 100% you can work with someone to develop a nice site and cheap hosting. DN15.com even can host for free. I hope this helps. DN15.com is also owned by a Navy Vet, like me.
