I am wanting to get a website up and running. I am not sure where to begin. I can easily buy a domain name, but from there, I'm not sure what to do. I have very good computer skills, but no development experience. It is also important that this site be easily findable, and not buried 50 pages back when it comes to searches.
I am wanting to use this site for the purposes of drawing together, like minded individuals who are focused, or care to focus on classroom education. In addition, I hope to reach anyone who may be interested in learning more about what I plan to do career-wise in Education, and are interested in helping me towards my goals.
Quite honestly, I am seeking help. I struggle with meeting daily expenses with two young adult children, and a home. I recently bought a domain name from Bravenet. Looking to the future, I'm thinking of posting a forum/imageboard with potentially adult content, and this is prohibited by their ToS. If I transferred the site to the servers of an adult hosting company, would I still be bound by the content restrictions of Bravenet for as long as I'm paying them for it? Also, does anyone know of a reliable adult hosting site?
