buying shoes online – legit or scam?
so i want to buy these nike free run+ black/red leather shoes
and i found this website, www.nike-frees.com and they are supposedly a wholesale online store.
they’re extremely cheap, about 60% discounted from retail price. i’ve also checked their domain name which told me they registered this domain name 22 days ago with 344 days until it expires, i have emailed them a few questions. they respond in less than a day.
any help in finding more ways to check if these websites are real or not is appreciated or just any advice. thanks alot

Buying a taken domain name?
I want to make an offer to a domain owner to buy his/her domain. The domain was registered 3 years ago, and haven’t been used (so it seems). I waited a whole year to see if the domain owner will by some miracle forget to renew it, but I got the idea it’s set to auto renew. Because, the domain didn’t get renewed until like a few hours before it expired.
The problem is, that I don’t know how to get hold of the owner, because the owner uses “Domains By Proxy” to keep himself private. So, using the WhoIS search didn’t help at all. The only thing I could see though, is that the owner used “Go Daddy” to register it. It says so when looking at the WhoIS info, also, when you go to the domain, it opens a Go Daddy page.
What can I do? I know GoDaddy has a domain buy service, where they contact the owner on your behalf, but it costs like $70 or something, and I did a google search… seems like most people ignore godaddy offers… it doesn’t seem like there is any good reviews about that. Does anyone have any experience with them?
Is there any way I can find contact info of the domain owner, even though he have himself private?
Any other ideas? It also doesn’t look like the domain is listed as “for sale” anywhere… not from what I could find.

If i buy a domain name for 1 year. once it expires, can i rebuy it for another year without the risk of it getting it taken.

How do I go about buying a domain name for someone else?
My friend used a friend to buy their domain name for their website (the business owner’s name) and after the friendship went south the friend stopped paying the domain fees. Now my friend’s has lost their website and when you try and visit the site it says it is parked courtesy of Godaddy.com. When I went to the website it says the domain is waiting for the customer to cancel or renew the subscription. Since I know this isn’t happening how can I go about purchasing his site back and making sure it is in his name, so it doesn’t happen again?
