Google Tech Talks Web Exponents presented by Doug Crockford February 27, 2009 blog post: google-code-updates.blogspot.com JavaScript is a language with more than its share of bad parts. It went from non-existence to global adoption in an alarmingly short period of time. It never had an interval in the lab when it could be tried out and polished. JavaScript has some extraordinarily good parts. In JavaScript there is a beautiful, highly expressive language that is buried under a steaming pile of good intentions and blunders. The best nature of JavaScript was so effectively hidden that for many years the prevailing opinion of JavaScript was that it was an unsightly, incompetent abomination. This session will expose the goodness in JavaScript, an outstanding dynamic programming language. Within the language is an elegant subset that is vastly superior to the language as a whole, being more reliable, readable and maintainable. I hope to sale products, publish newsletters, create some social network websites for my country, some tutoring, buy sale and auction websites, also providing people free+paid personal websites. May be some adult related websites but not explicit porn but educational.
My Basic requirement is as follows:
5GB Space is Fine
30-200GB space is fine
PHP/Perl/MySQL (unlimited) support
Support of multiple domain name (starter package supports only one domain. to get multiple domain what I need to do/pay?)
Over the summer, I plan on starting my own online company. I have made my decision on what I will do. It is a website where users can sign up for free, and sellers can list their website and or domain name for sale or auction. A buyer who is interested can purchase the website. The seller can post a snapshot of the website and post other info regarding his/her website. They can place the starting bid and or buy now price. I would make money by selling ad space, and by charging a very small fee for the seller to post his site for sale (this can also help by eliminating scammers trying to sell scam sites since scammers dont want to pay fees to post up a scam). The reason why i think this is a good idea is because people are now starting to “flip” websites (buy a website, fix it up, and sell it for profit. There is no real industry leading website available to buy and sell websites except for sitepoint.com, which does not have their main focus on the marketplace. If I market this site enough bringing targeted customers and visitors, this site could become a success. Since i have very good coding and design knowledge, I can easily create the site. I also have a marketing plan in place. My uncle, who markets sites for a living, thinks this site could have potential and says my marketing plan is perfect. My goal is to eventually make six or more figures a year. Do you think I could make six or more figures a year with this idea? Do you think it could be profitable? Do you think I should do it?
WIth the related news about Chris Brown and Rihanna. I created a site within hours of the news break. Currently, I get hundreds of hits per day and was thinking of selling the domain name and its contents as a whole. Someone may value this as marketing options or a good start off to create a more in-depth site. It’s chrisbrownsupport.com What auction sites should I list it at? What do u suggest?

Hey guys, I am still very new to buying and selling domain names, everything is just flying over my head on this… However, I am very determined to figure it out!
I was searching on godaddy.com today, and I found that there is a website called visualkey.com for sale, and I am thinking about buying it; it is only $15, and I think it would be a good start to domaining. Please, someone with experience educate me on how this would all work out!

I’ve been collecting coins since I was a kid and now I want to turn my hobby into a business. I’m putting together a website to buy and sell coins online. I’m thinking about buying a domain name from GoDaddy. Do you think the name UGotCoins.com would attract business to my site?
