I want to reg a domain fo company I’m hoping to start. What does Web parking mean, will it keep my name safe?
I know nothing about web design and I’m not at a stage of building a web site yet. I just want to go to step #1 and get the name registered. I also want to do it through a service that doesn’t charge much so I’m open to company recommendations. Thank you!

I have over 100 websites registered. I want to park them with a DNS hosting service or domain hosting service. Are there some cheaper service providers.

can i park the adress :www.site1.com/balabla.avi to www.site2.com/balabla.avi so that me ( www.site2.com) dont hav to host the file. i’m just parking the url on mine
for example:
i have a website :www.site1.com
and there is a file that i want to put on my site but i dont want to host it .
the link to the file is www.site1.com/balabla.avi
can i park it into to my domain so that any one who types www.site2.com/balabla.avi in their downloader will start downloading the file, but i’m not the one who is hosting the file the other site is.
its my domain name but its their file and thy are hosting it.
is that possible?
How can I get domain names with cash parking into search engines?
I have about 10 domain names with excellent terms that would get a lot of hits, but they are all currently ‘cash parked’ and they don’t show up in search engine searches. I’ve tried to access them that way in fact and they don’t show up even though a couple have been around for over a year. Is there a way to get them these parked domains populated in search engines? I’ve heard most search engines filter them out.
Geez, so far that’s a good answer, but what’s a mini-site?

Does Google index discriminate against page template from Sedo Domain Parking?
I have a few domains that I have parked with Sedo. I use their templates for domain parking, example here http://gymex.com/. Does Google PageRank and index discriminate against pages using these type of layouts?

I want to create a site where people can point their domains to my website… however when a user points their domain to my namesservers i need to park the domain… what i want to do is automate this process, so if they go to my site and type in their domain name it will park the domain…
The only way i know how to do this is through cpanel.
i.e. when I park a domain through cpanel, what file is actually being updated?… and can this file only be updated through cpaenl… regards to any responders. J
