I looked everywhere how to sell and send it to another buyer. Nothing really helped. I want to sell it on ebay or sedo.com but can’t figure the steps to send it to the other buyers. Or transferring ownership.

Sometimes when I am searching for domain names and a good one is available I wonder if someone had it at another time. For example I just registered twitterlogos.com. I think it is a decent name. Someone else already had twitterlogo.com and tweetlogos.com but not twitterlogos…makes you wonder if someone had it before.

or do I still run the risk of legally losing the name if it were to be trademarked or copywritten by someone else
or maybe site names can’t be registered with the patent and trademark office after they’ve been registered as domains by someone else.
thanks

Through my journalism program we opened an account at ixwebhosting and registered 2 domain names. They expired in december but i can renew the herchenrother.com one for free on the original account.
My goal for the domain to be controlled by Neil Herchenrother on a seperate account than the one we have on ixwebhosting. is it possible to transfer this if i renew it? When googled a company called e3auctions is auctioning it off but i have 75 days before they can truly sell it.

I just registered a trademark. Do I have any legal recourse to seize a domain name of the same name that is not currently in use, even if the current domain owner registered the domain before my trademark?

I want to use the word FICO in my company’s domain name (example – www.ficosRcool.com) but it is a registered trademark. I know that I cannot use the trademark in my company’s name but am I breaking trademark law by using the word FICO in my domain?
Thanks guys!
I really do want to use the word fico as the company who trademarked it uses it. for instance, www.getabetterfico.com
Thanks!

Okay, several years ago I registered the name www.romantiqueinteriors.com and it expired about a year ago. I never renewed it, and today I checked (which I do occasionally) it says coming soon.
If i register the name with the trademarks office, will I be able to get this name back? What should I do now?

My friend thought he was doing me a favor, but I haven’t been able to find him since my domain name expired. I don’t want to have to bid on it in an auction, I just want to renew the domain name associated with my business over 12 years ago.

what’s the difference between the status of one of your domains being viewed as ‘ already registered’ in search results as opposed to ‘for sale.’ How can I make my domains appear ‘for sale’ when they come up in sedo search results.
Thanks
