Last year, January 25, I created a website. Keep in mind, I’m not that educated with this sort of thing, and I just have been trying my best to learn as I go. I went with JustHost.com, and they were a nightmare. I tried to cancel my account, and they wouldn’t let me. I’ll spare you the details, but after 2 months of fighting with them, I contacted a guy who builds & maintains websites for people & businesses for a living. Even he thought it was absolutely ridiculous, the way JustHost was doing business. Anyway, I had to just cancel that particular card that JustHost was charging, so THEY would cancel ME for non-payment. That worked. Well, my website expired Jan 25th, & apparently I am under a “grace period” of some sort. I have no idea how to renew my domain name! I can’t login, because my user name & password was canceled by JustHost when I canceled that card. So I’m totally at a loss as to how I can renew it. I tried calling JustHost, but after a little over an hour of being placed on hold, and having NEVER talked to a live person, I hung up…this was all too familiar from last year, anyway, I have NEVER talked to a live person at JustHost. So …anyone have any bright ideas?

I am getting e-mails from a Hotmail account telling me my domain name is about to expire. Seems funny to me that my domain is through Yahoo, yet I’m getting a renewal notice from a hotmail account. Is this a scam??? Sample below:

i won a domain from an expired auction domain that’s been expired since 6/18/10, only 4 more days to go until it’s mine.. how likely will the person renew in the end?? I feel like im gonna be pretty nervous until sunday since i love this domain name and it’s really great one that could worth a lot of money.

I keep getting offers from groups like “Liberty Names” to renew my domain name but I just want to do it with Yahoo again. Unfortuanately, I cannot find anywhere on the Yahoo sight that actually gives me the opportunity to “renew.”

My domain name, www.toristreasuresgiftbaskets.com, has accidentally expired. I would like to renew it (and don’t know how), and I am concerned about whether or not my Yahoo Small Business services (like the Shopping Cart) will return once it is renewed. I have a lot of information in there. It expired three days ago.
I can “reactivate” my domain name using that link, ktkck5, but my concern is whether or not the online shopping cart information I have created can be recovered. The fact that it asks me to select a service (either with or without a shopping cart) concerns me very much. I want to restore my domain name without losing that shopping cart information.

My friend thought he was doing me a favor, but I haven’t been able to find him since my domain name expired. I don’t want to have to bid on it in an auction, I just want to renew the domain name associated with my business over 12 years ago.
