BBB Flooded With Complaints On 2 Auto Auction Sites
Stars-Automart, Autoaven Sent Cease And Desist Letters

DENVER — The Denver office of the Better Business Bureau said its telephone helpline has been jammed with calls from people across the country who are asking about two auto sales Web sites that claim to be headquartered in Denver.
According to the BBB, calls have been nonstop and the BBB has sent a “cease and desist” notice regarding trademark infringement to the company because of a fake BBB report the sites link to that falsely shows the company with an A+ rating.
The two Web sites list one physical address as 10701 W. Sixth Ave, but that address actually belongs to BBB Accredited business, Automotive Avenues, Inc. Another link goes to 3925 Monaco Parkway, which actually belongs to Cintas Document Management — a paper shredding company.
The two Web sites, www.stars-automart.com and www.autoaven.com, claim to offer sales of repossessed vehicles.
The BBB said customers complain that once a majority payment is sent via MoneyGram to a Denver address, the company ceases communication. The company has not responded to the BBB.
An Internet check shows the two domain names are registered to a private registration company in Sunnyvale, Calif.
The BBB said it sent out the warning because on-delivery and Internet auction fraud were the top two complained-about fraud types at the Internet Crime Complaint Center.
“The BBB takes complaints very seriously and does not want any more consumers to be victimized,” a news release stated.
TheDenverChannel attempted to contact the Web sites without success. The phone number listed on the site goes to a recording, which suggests callers contact them by e-mail. The same section of the stars-automart.com Web site lists a James Stewart as the owner.
To protect from online scams, the BBB has the following suggestions:
• Verify any organization credentials with the organization directly, (BBB, AutoTrader, Consumer Reports logos, etc.)
• Check the company’s BBB report at www.denver.bbb.org or by calling 303-758-2100. Only do business online with websites you are familiar with and that have a positive track record.
• Make sure the website has a privacy policy. It will contain agreements on how the information you provide on the website will be used and kept private and secure. Print this and keep it in your records.
• The privacy policy may also contain the company’s mailing address. Only do business with companies that provide a sure method of contact, should something go wrong.
• Do not wire transfer any payment. Wired funds cannot be traced and therefore cannot be recovered if you are a victim of fraud.
• If you have become a victim of fraud, contact your BBB and the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov to file a complaint.

so i want to buy these nike free run+ black/red leather shoes
and i found this website, www.nike-frees.com and they are supposedly a wholesale online store.
they’re extremely cheap, about 60% discounted from retail price. i’ve also checked their domain name which told me they registered this domain name 22 days ago with 344 days until it expires, i have emailed them a few questions. they respond in less than a day.
any help in finding more ways to check if these websites are real or not is appreciated or just any advice. thanks alot

Perfect Food Company Inc that sells hemp products is managed by Ryan Sharp who poses as its president and the hemp distributor is a robbery in a broad daylight. It has two websites – one Canadian: www.perfectfood.ca and the other American at: www.naturesperfectfoods.com . This man steals singlehandedly money from orders placed through his site with no intention of ever fulfilling it. When you call him – he has an automated message being played saying that the company is experiencing significant shipment delays.Your money is gone and you have no product in your hands. This scam artist has the scheme well set-up. He uses legitimate services such as Credit Card processing and PayPal. He even has a VeriSign seal that is valid till 2010 which means Credit Card transactions are safe, but… you will not see your money back. I decided to make this video as a warning to others who are looking for organic hemp products online and think it will be less expensive to buy in bulk with the free shipping offer. Beware. This is a fraud. Please check Better Business Bureau (Vancouver branch) online – you will find under Perfect Food Company 22 complaints filed since February 2009. None resolved. This business, not affiliated with BBB, received F mark (the lowest possible) and is still going! This was sent to me today but I don’t know if this is the truth or just a rumor so please do your own research. The bottom line is that there is something fishy here and more than the USA/Military/Media Complex is reporting.

“In Washington, a senior U.S. official said authorities at Fort Hood initially thought one of the victims who had been shot and killed was the shooter. The mistake resulted in a delay of several hours in identifying Hasan as the alleged assailant.”
The truth is probably something VERY different. For example:
‘Two US privates John Smith and John Henry had been seeing a military psychiatrist major Hasan at Fort hood for a few weeks. Both privates said they were completely against the war of oppression in the middle east and would refuse to report for active duty if ordered to do so.
So the army put them both in therapy with Dr. Hasan. After more than five weeks of therapy both Christian privates were called to go to Afghanistan. Both privates warned they would not go and they would defend themselves with force if the army tried to force them to fight in a war they believed was morally wrong.
Yesterday fellow soldiers tried to surprize the two consciencious objectors but the privates were prepared and killed 12 soldiers who tried to force their way into the privates’ barracks at Fort Hood.During the mele their psychiatrist major Hasan, tried to talk the two privates into surrendering but he was shot twice.
Finally both privates were overcome and killed. Their psychiatrist major Hasan is in hospital recovering.’
Officials of the military have spun the story to make it seem the privates’ doctor (who has a muslim sounding name) was the perpetrator so that the public does not understand just how much resistance there is to the middle east war in the military rank and file.
The whole official Fort Hood cover story is 98% a lie.
