Is it good to go through the likes of GoDaddy? How do people sell normal domain names for lots of money as seen here.. http://marketplacepro.moniker.com/auction/live_auction_ticker.html
Where would be a good place to sell my website?Ebay sucks so does yahoo auctions too many people selling domain names on there.I always get people who think I am selling dragonball Z stuff cause of the name. dbmerchandise.comIt is number one under 17 categories and between 15-20 on the other catergoiries….How much should I sell it for as well? Thanks in advance for all the help.
sorry didn’t space it dbmerchandise.com
I would like to make a profit on the internet. I found out that you can use Godaddy.com to create a domain name and then sell it in a auction. I was just wondering if someone would know more about this or know someone that has done this. Did it bring positive results or not.
I want to advertise my domain, reviewed.tv, on EBay … as I already have it advertised on Sedo. Yet, I cannot do so without a protective reserve price because the name would go for too little – and far less than its appraised value. With reserve prices for normal items costing 2% (up to max of £100 GBP, around $200 USD), it is going to cost me over £100 to list the item. Are there no special reserve rates for domain names as there are for cars and houses?
I own a domain name, that I am not using, and I don’t plan on using it. I want to sell if on Ebay, or Sedo, or something like that. I wanted to know what were the necessary steps I must take to transfer over ownership. For example, how do I change all my credit card information so I don’t get charged. How do I put the domain in their name? Like their address, and email, and all that other info. I was also wondering what was a good selling price for the domain. Its a pretty specific domain name, so it can’t really be used for anything but for the name. IDK about really making a big profit. I just want to make my $6.99 back and get the domain off my hands.
I don’t know if this helps buy I purchased the domain from 1&1 Internet.
I know the vast majority of the top level domains are now taken a long time ago…Though what would happen if I use a dictionary search( I can even build my own PHP script tp check for best domains, like two words containing the word “internet” against an english dictionary). I am sure there is still hope in similar situations.
Also, what if I buy like 100 .com domains containing top words and at the same time being short, without dashes, no misspelings etc.
Can I make real money reselling them for at least $50 and for what period of time?
I know stories about how “business.com” or “sex.com” were sold for millions. But then again I am not relying on such deals. The idea behind my plan is to buy many top domains and sell them for a pretty reasonable and low price – hence to make monthly income on sedo.
