GBTV #527 (HD) | Have you seen apps open this fast?

We’ve all had the desire to have the fastest computer in the world, but this guy did something about it! He put 24 Samsung Solid State Hard Drives in a PC and in this promotional video demonstrates just how fast it is in today’s video. It doesn’t matter how fast your computer is, you know what you ultimately want is instant response. You click an icon and the app is instantly up and running for you. This is the closest thing I’ve ever seen to that. You can save money on domain name registrations and renewals from GoDaddy.com with discount codes GB1, GB2 and GB3. For an explanation of each code, click here.

Who can deny this autoaven.com/stars-automart.com?

Denver News

BBB Flooded With Complaints On 2 Auto Auction Sites
Stars-Automart, Autoaven Sent Cease And Desist Letters
POSTED: 12:41 pm MDT August 11, 2009
DENVER — The Denver office of the Better Business Bureau said its telephone helpline has been jammed with calls from people across the country who are asking about two auto sales Web sites that claim to be headquartered in Denver.
According to the BBB, calls have been nonstop and the BBB has sent a “cease and desist” notice regarding trademark infringement to the company because of a fake BBB report the sites link to that falsely shows the company with an A+ rating.
The two Web sites list one physical address as 10701 W. Sixth Ave, but that address actually belongs to BBB Accredited business, Automotive Avenues, Inc. Another link goes to 3925 Monaco Parkway, which actually belongs to Cintas Document Management — a paper shredding company.

The two Web sites, www.stars-automart.com and www.autoaven.com, claim to offer sales of repossessed vehicles.
The BBB said customers complain that once a majority payment is sent via MoneyGram to a Denver address, the company ceases communication. The company has not responded to the BBB.
An Internet check shows the two domain names are registered to a private registration company in Sunnyvale, Calif.
The BBB said it sent out the warning because on-delivery and Internet auction fraud were the top two complained-about fraud types at the Internet Crime Complaint Center.
“The BBB takes complaints very seriously and does not want any more consumers to be victimized,” a news release stated.
TheDenverChannel attempted to contact the Web sites without success. The phone number listed on the site goes to a recording, which suggests callers contact them by e-mail. The same section of the stars-automart.com Web site lists a James Stewart as the owner.
To protect from online scams, the BBB has the following suggestions:
• Verify any organization credentials with the organization directly, (BBB, AutoTrader, Consumer Reports logos, etc.)
• Check the company’s BBB report at www.denver.bbb.org or by calling 303-758-2100. Only do business online with websites you are familiar with and that have a positive track record.
• Make sure the website has a privacy policy. It will contain agreements on how the information you provide on the website will be used and kept private and secure. Print this and keep it in your records.
• The privacy policy may also contain the company’s mailing address. Only do business with companies that provide a sure method of contact, should something go wrong.
• Do not wire transfer any payment. Wired funds cannot be traced and therefore cannot be recovered if you are a victim of fraud.
• If you have become a victim of fraud, contact your BBB and the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov to file a complaint.
if you were scammed report it to your local police. Make an IC3.com complaint. Call your attny General and file a complaint. Send a notice to the secret service and try to get them to investigate. Get your local police to contact interpol. If you don’t hear anything within 4 weeks call your congressman. We will not get any money back but we will shut these guys down and prevent it from happening again

Is this a good business idea?

Over the summer, I plan on starting my own online company. I have made my decision on what I will do. It is a website where users can sign up for free, and sellers can list their website and or domain name for sale or auction. A buyer who is interested can purchase the website. The seller can post a snapshot of the website and post other info regarding his/her website. They can place the starting bid and or buy now price. I would make money by selling ad space, and by charging a very small fee for the seller to post his site for sale (this can also help by eliminating scammers trying to sell scam sites since scammers dont want to pay fees to post up a scam). The reason why i think this is a good idea is because people are now starting to “flip” websites (buy a website, fix it up, and sell it for profit. There is no real industry leading website available to buy and sell websites except for sitepoint.com, which does not have their main focus on the marketplace. If I market this site enough bringing targeted customers and visitors, this site could become a success. Since i have very good coding and design knowledge, I can easily create the site. I also have a marketing plan in place. My uncle, who markets sites for a living, thinks this site could have potential and says my marketing plan is perfect. My goal is to eventually make six or more figures a year. Do you think I could make six or more figures a year with this idea? Do you think it could be profitable? Do you think I should do it?

Thanks!

Can you help me with this JavaScript.??? (read the description)?

I saw in W3school they mention this is the way to write a JavaScript (this first step)

function setCookie(c_name,value,expiredays)
{
var exdate=new Date();
exdate.setDate(exdate.getDate()+expiredays);
document.cookie=c_name+ “=” +escape(value)+
((expiredays==null) ? “” : “;expires=”+exdate.toGMTString());
}

and I saw another site it mentions in this way

document.cookie = “name=value; expires=date; path=path;
domain=domain; secure”;

but you can see in W3schcool example
there is this weird part

((expiredays==null) ? “” : “;expires=”+exdate.toGMTString());

can any one explain what is that mean.?? and why we want to use “?” mark and why there is
: and ; two marks ,and how is it fit to

document.cookie = “name=value; expires=date; path=path;
domain=domain; secure”;

this demonstration
